I teach because I believe children are the future and that you must be the change you want to see. As a third year elementary school teacher, I am extremely passionate and dedicated to the enrichment and enlightenment of all students. I believe education is most effective when students are met where they are and can connect to the content to apply it to their everyday lives. I enjoy teaching through the use of hands-on activities, project-based learning, and a student-centered approach. I received my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education in May of 2015 from Georgia State University. Shortly after conferring my degree, I continued to pursue education to obtain my Masters of Science in Elementary Mathematics and Reading from Walden University. My future goal is to earn my Specialist degree from Georgia State University beginning in August.
