Certified Tutor

Hello! First things first, I am currently a student at Grand Canyon University and am one semester away from getting BA in Psychology. I am also minoring in counseling and English lit. After achieving my BA I hope to get my masters in education.
I have very little experience tutoring, but I have been a student for most of my life and have helped out plenty of classmates along the way.
I tutor in an array of subjects from American Lit, IB Theatre and Essay Editing. My absolute favorite subjects to tutor in are both theatre and literature related, like College English for example. They both hold special places in my heart, and you could say that I have a passion for both in my personal life.
When it comes to my teaching philosophy, I think that positive feedback is a must. People are constantly growing and learning, so why would I cut them down before they've even begun to sprout? Especially after reaching out for help in one subject or another.
I do have interests outside of academia, however. I enjoy camping, watching horror movies, talking about conspiracies and going to anime conventions. One could say that I'm a bit of a dork.
