Certified Tutor

I'm a student in the Masters of Computer Science program at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, I studied Biomedical Engineering and Zoology. I've been tutoring/teaching in different capacities over the years ranging from a Gifted and Talented Specialist Assistant in high school to a Chemistry Tutor in college. I, hopefully, one day am able to become a professor, because I'm dedicated to helping others learn topics that were once difficult to me. Thus, I am definitely empathetic to the struggle (and I know that it is in fact very real), so I will go out of my way to help you.

My academic interests and pursuits have varied over the years, but typically align along the lines of STEM. But, the study of cognition is a personal favorite of mine. I have even incorporated those principles into how I approach learning (M.I.S.R.E: Mnemonics.Interleaving.Spacing.Repeating.Elaboration).

I love keeping up with the latest in gadgetry and technology and reading in my spare time. I'm very interested in cognitive neuroscience and psychology and generally how we as humans learn. Other than that I enjoy soccer, running, and music.
