My area of expertise is reading comprehension from children to college students. In my 23 years of teaching I have helped dyslexia students, special education students, ESL students and college students become better readers and writers. I am Texas state certified in English Language Arts, English as a Second Language, and Special Education. I am an adjunct English professor at HCC.

I have a bachelor's and master's degree, both in the arts. Since I love learning I have always studied several subjects at the same time. My areas of study have included creative writing, English, the humanities, philosophy, history and women's studies.

I can help you with reading, writing and test preparation.
