Certified Tutor

I am a current graduate student at Columbia University pursuing a MS in Biomedical Engineering. I got my BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. During my time in undergrad and in high school I worked on tutoring my friends and family through high school math such as Algebra 1&2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus 1-3 (including AP Calculus) and watched them succeed in their courses. In addition to math, I have experience in middle school and high school science (i.e. physics and chemistry) I greatly enjoy the process of helping others. I find myself very patient and understanding towards the different ways students learn. I try and adjust my teaching approach based on the students needs. I believe learning is fun and rewarding. I hope to support my students in their process of discovering that. In my spare time I enjoy playing soccer and doing ballet. I look forward to working with you soon!
