Certified Tutor

I first started my career as an educator in 2012, when I became a graduate assistant at Youngstown State University. During my time there I taught Composition 1 to students from a variety of ages and backgrounds. Now, I'm living in Japan where I teach English as a second language at a conversation school. I teach all levels and ages, from 0 to 80, and cover all aspects, including helping students learn to read, giving them the fundamentals of grammar, and improving their vocabulary.
I like to read, and write. I'm an author of speculative fiction and poetry. I admire a broad range of authors, from J.K. Rowling, to Stephen King, to Joyce Carol Oates and Raymond Carver. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, jogging, and visiting temples here in Japan.
