Certified Tutor

In December 2015, I received my Master's of Science in biology from Chatham University. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of the Virgin Islands. I was also born and raised in the United States Virgin Islands. My enduring interest in sciences lead to my dream of becoming a physician.

I have been tutoring since the age of ten. I often tutor elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, biology, chemistry and many more. In college, I worked as an English tutor for our varsity basketball team. I also worked at the Center for Student Success as a math and science tutor.

I enjoy seeing the light bulb effect students get when they understand something that that they have been struggling with. Tutoring has always been a way for me to feel like I am making a difference in someone's life.

Outside of work and school, I play soccer. I was on the National team in the US Virgin Islands for 8 years and I am currently a coach at Pittsburgh Dynamo.
