I am a student at Duke University, and my interests lie in English, mathematics, and economics. My teaching philosophy is that understanding fundamental concepts is most important when solving a problem. When tutoring, I like to boil down a problem to its most basic form, so you can easily see the relevant information without getting caught in the minutia. I believe that when you understand the logic behind a simple problem like this, you will be able to solve more complex ones derived from similar concepts. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, practicing yoga, hiking, and going to concerts.
