Certified Tutor

I am a PhD student of Electrical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). I received my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Temple University and the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from RPI.

I have since devoted myself to my doctoral research while tutoring private clients in Math and the Sciences during my available periods. In between semesters, I offer voluntary tutoring to students within my community. I have worked with students of various age groups, including elementary learners and adult students returning from the workforce. I am looking to expand upon my teaching experience and discover new, effective methods of education together with students. I have had the most enjoyment in teaching Mathematics and Literary Writing, where I have seen struggling students overcome fear and anxiety and make remarkable progress. I believe strongly that education is a partnership; success can only be achieved by proportionate effort and persistence from both student and teacher. When I'm not studying, I am swimming, hiking, studying foreign languages, or just riding the train for fun. Thank you for viewing my profile :)
