I recently attended Northwestern University, where I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Psychology. I'm interested in the intersection of technology and human behavior, and hope to work on projects that connect people in meaningful ways. In my free time, I like to play soccer, beatbox, and go on adventures with friends.
Growing up with two younger siblings, I often found myself helping with homework, and soon I was volunteering at after school programs. For me, tutoring is not simply teaching challenging material, but empowering students to be creative and resilient in the face of future obstacles. I'm particularly interested in tutoring math, as I like to create metaphors and games that connect to students' interests. I treat my students like younger siblings. Ideally, I hope to inspire an enthusiastic approach to learning that continues beyond our sessions.
