Certified Tutor

I first gained experience with tutoring as a college student at Virginia Tech. After countless study sessions preparing for exams, I realized that my method of teaching peer students actually worked. I wanted to reach out and help more students to achieve their academic goals.

I'm a very visual learner and therefore both learn and tutor best by drawing out diagrams or seeing and working through practice questions. I believe the best tool for overcoming any challenge is the will to succeed. I help students keep up their will by customizing my tutoring plan to each individual client.

When I'm not tutoring, I'm in class at Virginia Tech, home with my family, or riding my horse. I'm a biology major with hopes to attend veterinary school in the near future to pursue large animal surgery.
