As a current Masters student in English at Boston College, I firmly believe that learning to think, write, and speak critically is of the utmost importance. So important, in fact, that I take great pleasure in working with students who are having a difficult time with English coursework, no matter the age (Middle school, high school, undergrad). I believe that hard work and enthusiasm are the most important tools to success. Along with a variety of techniques I have to help with grammar, vocabulary, outlining, and argumentation, I try and stress the need for hard work and enthusiasm in all of my sessions. Tutoring means a great deal to me and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you!
