Certified Tutor
I am a graduate student at North Carolina State University, currently working on my MFA in Poetry, as well as a teacher of undergraduate courses in creative writing at NCSU, as a part of my graduate program. I majored in Creative Writing and minored in Literature and German as an undergraduate, and spent three years of that time working as a tutor for my university's tutoring center. I am a CRLA certified Master Tutor and have worked with students of many ages and academic backgrounds, in essay writing, creative writing, test prep, and the German language.
As a tutor, my most important goals are to help my clients build and grow confidence in their own abilities as students, to help them discover new ways to learn and understand their subjects, regardless of skill level or interest, and to help them achieve a love and motivation for learning.
