I have held a couple of academic positions during different times in my life. I believe that way to unlock doors to better and efficient future is by empowering youngsters with knowledge. I have been working as an Engineer in the automotive industry since 2011. I apply the principles of Math and Science in order to design, test and simulate the performance of the products of future.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that the way to unlock doors to a better and efficient future is by empowering youngsters with knowledge.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Check their understanding level by asking questions. Check topics that they are interested in so it can be used in the future for building up relationships, and use the examples from things that they are interested in.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Encourage them to :
a) Set goals
b) Look for the root cause of a problem
c) Ask relevant questions
d) Identify underlying assumptions
e) Practice
How would you help a student stay motivated?
a) Encourage students to set their own performance goals.
b) Help them draw connections to real life; for example - how a problem can be found in real life, and hence finding its solution, can be rewarding.
c) Use creative ideas and different techniques; for example - visual aids like colorful charts, diagrams and videos, etc.
