Certified Tutor

I began my professional career as Certified Dance instructor in Ballet, Jazz and Musical Theater Arts. I owned and operated a dance studio in Pikeville and Prestonsburg, Kentucky. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pikeville College maintaining a 3.5 GPA. I attained my Master of Arts from the University of Louisville in Health Education and Movement Studies, I maintained a 3.45 GPA while working part-time.

I have a passion for education, teaching and learning. Learning is fun and I believe everyone enjoys learning. I discern the students' learning style, whether auditory, visual or kinesthetic and prepare lessons that make learning fun and easier for the students to reach their full potential. I am always open to questions and encourage curiosity.

My specialities to tutor are Reading, Writing, Grammar, Composition, Language Arts, Biology and Anatomy. I also tutor Elementary and Middle School Math through Algebra 1.
