I received a graduate degree in philosophy from the University of Paris, and a Ph.D. diploma in French language and literature from the University of Chicago. My doctoral dissertation on Montaigne's Essays and his Epicurean philosophy of pleasure was published at the prestigious Parisian publishing house Garnier-Classiques. Over the last few years, I acquired an extensive teaching experience in French, Spanish, and Polish, sharing my passion of languages, cultures, literatures, and philosophy with dedicated students. I taught at several higher learning institutions such as The University of Chicago, De Paul University at Chicago, Rockford University, Universit Europenne de Formation at Tours, France, and at the Alliance Franaise de Chicago. In my free time, I love outdoors activities such as hiking and kayaking, but also movies, reading, and cultural travelling. My multiple traveler's peregrinations lead me, among others, to Guatemala, Mexico, and Dominican Republic, where I had a chance to extend my knowledge of Spanish language and culture at local universities. I am also interested in the world history, native American and pagan cultures, religions and civilizations.
