I am energetic tutor who love solving problems in Math, Physics, and Chemistry especially doing calculation. I am very patient in following steps by steps in lecturing, and I want to ensure my student would understand the basic knowledge and question first. After that, I would go further to expand their knowledge.
I also need the collaboration between my client and the student along with their expectation.
My parents are both high school teachers in Physics and Chemistry, so I simulated her their teaching way to tutor my friends in high school and college. My parents want to reinforce my knowledge, understand the questions, and work together with me some problems. Then they let me do some similar problems by myself.

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
I would ask the student where they struggle, and I would have them explain their perspective toward the subject. I would modify or correct to help them understand better.

I would give them my own example to test their understanding.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
I would give them a small quiz at the end of the session.
How do you evaluate a student's needs?
