I recently graduated from Reed College in Portland, OR, where I studied philosophy. This Fall, I'll be starting a PhD program in philosophy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In addition to philosophy, I've always had a passion for foreign languages and literature. I studied French, Spanish, and German in both high school and college. I also dabbled in both Latin and Greek.

My experience with tutoring is fairly broad. I've worked with middle school, high school, college, and adult students. I was a mentor and tutor at a middle school in Portland, OR, have tutored students in my own school district, have worked with students in philosophy classes at Reed College, and have taught English to Spanish day-laborers. I've tutored in a wide variety of areas, including math, English, foreign languages, and philosophy. In addition, I'll be a teaching assistant for philosophy and logic classes at the Center for Talented Youth this summer, and my ultimate goal in life is to be a professor. I am passionate about helping students learn and look forward to teaching them.
