Certified Tutor

I am currently a student in the Dual Degree Program between Sciences Po University and the University of British Columbia, where I have completed two years of Bachelors of Arts economics and political sciences focused studies, and will pursue a Bachelors of Commerce with a focus in marketing at the University of British Columbia. I have traveled extensively in Europe and North America, both for leisure and to compete in international Model UN conferences, and I feel this has contributed greatly to who I am today. My French is conversational (and I do love to converse). I have tutored both native and non-native English speakers in a multitude of subjects, and my favorites are economics, English, or psychology related, but simple math is fun too, because math is fun when you're right. Most of my tutoring experience comes from high school, where I helped younger students in a variety of subjects.My teaching philosophy is based on the fact that there is a simpler way to explain everything, and I hope to be able to explain that to students. Access to resources is also extremely important, and I hope to provide many to my students, which will enrich their knowledge not only of the subject at hand but of related topics too. Outside of academics, I enjoy dancing, photography, cats, and photographs of cats.
