Certified Tutor
I am currently a student at Vanderbilt University. I aim to graduate with majors in both Economics and Computer Science alongside a Psychology minor. I have previously tutored through The Legacy Center, a literacy program designed to help dyslexic children catch back up to their grade level in terms of reading competency.
My mission is to help each and every student achieve their maximum potential in whatever subject they choose, however, the skills and mindsets we will develop through our tutoring together can be expected to permeate into countless aspects of their lives. I tutor a wide range of topics, including Math (Algebra through Calculus and Statistics), Chemistry, Biology, French, Economics, Psychology and Computer Science.
When I am not tutoring I enjoy playing soccer and tennis as well as spending time with my friends and pets (two cats).

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is to help each student identify the tactics and strategies that work best for them. A personalized avenue to success.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By focusing on the problem solving skills necessary to analyze a difficult problem before jumping into the specifics of a particular problem.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
While practice can indeed make perfect, it can also be invaluable to help students’ frame concepts in a way that best connects to them in order to facilitate their learning in the long run.
