Greetings! My name is Monaejah , but I prefer to be called Monae. I attend the State University Of New York, College at Oneonta, and I am a rising senior. I am currently a Fashion Merchandising major, but have been tutoring many of my peers and family members in Algebra I for quite some time. I will be graduating with a Bachelors of Science in May of 2017, and hope to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology for graduate school. I am more than willing to tutor anyone who needs help in the areas that I have been specialized in. I eagerly look forward to working with each and every one of you!

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
Have the student answer what he or she knows first and then teach the entire content afterwards.
How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
Create songs and acronyms that will stick in their head and allow them to remember and learn the content.
