Certified Tutor
As a student at the University of Florida studying chemical engineering, I know how hard science and math classes can be on students. Having studied endlessly and rigorously I am more than happy to share my understanding with other fellow students that need help getting through the courses. Besides science and mathematics I have experience taking the SAT, ACT, and various AP examinations, so I'm additionally able to tutor in those subjects. I will work with students so they can understand the material and complete problems on their own. I am very approachable and share a deep love for teaching, always feel free to ask questions!

What is your teaching philosophy?
I know that some students may be shy to ask questions and pretend that they understand because of this shyness; as such my teaching philosophy is to encourage questions in order to learn from mistakes.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I will try to get to know the student and understand what difficulties they are having with a certain subject.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By encouraging questions and learning from mistakes, I will teach students the errors they are making so they can avoid them when doing problems individually.
