I strive to create an enjoyable enriching experience. I am a NYS Certified Math and Literacy Teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Math Education and a Master's of Education in Literacy. I have an extensive math SAT background. I have worked with many SAT students both on my own and through other tutoring corporations.
While I enjoy teaching groups, I feel that one-on-one tutoring is more beneficial for the student and allows him/her to have the individualized attention they deserve. The SAT's can be daunting without the right preparation, and my goal is to get students familiar and comfortable with the SAT math by reviewing the topics, teaching them to decode the questions, and offering helpful strategies.
In literacy, I have experience working with all different ages from pre-school to entry level college courses. In addition to my literacy training, I also have experience with Lindamood Bell and Quantum Learning. I strive to make the experience an enjoyable one and constantly come up with new ideas to keep the lessons fresh and unforgettable.

The first session depends very much on the student. Sometimes parents like to schedule a meet and greet, or sometimes the student wants to dive right in.
