Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of the University of Richmond where I studied Public Health with a double minor in Biology and Spanish. Having just moved to Washington, DC, I am loving getting to know my new home city! Aside from getting lost on the way to and from work, I like to read and write, play soccer, spend time outdoors, and spend time with my friends. I have previous short-term teaching experience in Peru and Spain, and am near-fluent in Spanish. I believe in the power of positive thinking, hard work, and self-confidence. I also believe that practice makes perfect: putting theory into practice is the best way to become comfortable with new material, so when tutoring I try to incorporate practice problems as much as possible.
