What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
The first session is all about meeting the student -- learning what motivates him or her, and beginning to determine how he or she works best. We work through a variety of preliminary exercises in the subject, each one catered to a different learning style. The emphasis during this first, crucial meeting is to establish trust and cooperation with the student -- and to make the work enjoyable.
