I'm thrilled when I see the potential in others and want to work to unleash it. Motivated by meeting the needs of others, I oftentimes see small distinctions and gaps in understanding, and advise others on how to fill them. I'm able to simplify complexity by thinking practically/sequentially, making sense of concepts and re-configuring them in an easy-to-understand way. These skills and passions help me break things down into components and craft lesson examples that help reveal conceptual components easily. I enjoy creating and customizing teaching that is best tailored to the unique characteristics of a person's personality and situation. Not only will I seek to help students understand concepts, I also focus on giving them the tools to think, problem solve and make decisions on their own. I encourage critical thinking over brute force memorization.
