With a BA in Advertising from The University of Texas and many years experience in the entertainment industry, I have carved out a career in creativity, focusing on writing and editing. I enjoy working with students, and have been fortunate to do so many places, including England, France, and California. Finding that the lessons I most remember in life are the ones I discover for myself, I try to guide a student to their own discoveries with questions instead of statements. Not surprisingly, writing is my favorite subject to tutor, but I also have an affinity for math. I think balance is important in life and math's straightforward, organized nature can be therapeutic to the creative mind. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, working on my novel, and playing with my dog, Quito, from Ecuador.
