Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Oberlin College, where I earned a Bachelor of the Arts in English Literature with a Politics minor. While at Oberlin, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the school's alternative weekly newspaper, and worked in its writing center. Working with students to improve their essays was one of my favorite parts of college and I'm excited to be back at it.

Since graduating, I've worked for Oberlin's Office of Communications, written for two alternative weeklies (Cleveland's Scene and Portland's Willamette Week) and an app (Countable.us), and gone on tour with my band. When I'm not tutoring or on deadline, you can find me with my guitar in the studio, caramelizing onions for my next big feast or with my nose buried in a book on the Q train.
