I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. Currently I am pursuing my Master of Education degree through the University of Arizona. Prior to starting this program I lived and worked in Ecuador teaching English as a Foreign Language with the United States Peace Corps. I have also lived and taught English in Spain and Honduras. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I believe in the importance of lifelong learning, and as a tutor, I strive to instill in my students that passion for knowledge. When given the vision and tools to succeed all students are capable of achieving their education goals. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, yoga, and working in my garden.
