Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Fordham University. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Classics and Theology, and a minor in History. After graduation I attended law school and received my Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School. I have experience tutoring high school and college level students with an emphasis on improving students’ writing and critical reading skills. I also have experience in standardized test prep, and in tutoring students enrolled in accelerated programs. My favorite subjects to tutor are writing, reading, and editing. I enjoy seeing students who struggled in these areas gain confidence that impacts the rest of their academic and professional careers. I am a strong proponent of utilizing classic literature to improve students’ writing, grammar and verbal skills organically, while nurturing their creative and artistic abilities. My hobbies include playing the piano and guitar, reading and writing poetry, and studying Latin.
