Certified Tutor

I am passionate about learning and helping others, and I feel strongly that over everything else, the process of exploring an academic field should be exciting and fun. I graduated from Oberlin College, with a B.A. in East Asian Studies focusing on Chinese Language. In the Summer of 2013, participated in the Princeton in Beijing Chinese language intensive at Beijing Normal University through Princeton University. In addition to my skills in Chinese language, I am also a bilingual fluent speaker of English and Spanish, and I am a serious advanced student of French. My achievements in French led me to win first place in the French language competition le Grand concours de la Maison francophone de Cleveland. I have extensive experience tutoring privately in French, Spanish, Chinese, English as a second language, and mathematics. I also participated in a training course for teachers of English as Second/Foreign Language in January 2014 at Oberlin College and will return to brush up on my skills learn more in January 2015.
