Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law and received my undergraduate Bachelor of Science in History from Kansas State University. Both while at K-State and in law school, I tutored high school and college students in History, Writing, and English Literature. I focus on approaching these topics with a holistic attitude, tying history to the present and reading/writing to applicable life skills. While I still tutor in these subjects (and love working with students in them), I also am passionate about helping students who are planning on entering law school with improving their LSAT performance. I believe that with any standardized test, the key is to eliminate the fear factor by prepping for the unknown. Through practice and learning key techniques, I work with students to replace that fear with a strong belief in their own preparedness. When I am not working, I am a voracious reader, a fisherman, and a bit of a movie nut. I also like to work with my hands and can often be found working on a project at a local woodshop.
