Certified Tutor

I am a current student at the University of Houston pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. My goal is to help my students succeed. I work to my students' needs, whether it's getting up to an A average, getting ready for the ACT test, or helping with a subject that he or she can't quite figure out. Frustration is the enemy, so I try to determine the parts my students struggle with, and help him or her to understand it. Instead of drilling those problems over and over, I want my students to understand the problem and know how to solve the problem instead of memorizing a quick short cut. I specialize in math and computer science, but I know all the tricks to the ACT, and can cover every aspect of that test. In person tutoring is my preference, but I'm happy to help with online tutoring. In my free time, I enjoy watching hockey or college football, working on simple apps for my phone, or relaxing with Netflix or a video game.
