Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication, where I majored in Journalism with a minor in Creative Writing. My pieces as a freelance journalist have appeared in Portland Monthly, Outside In Literary & Travel, Exiled in Eugene and Earth First! Newswire, to name a few. I tutor English, reading and writing courses, including ACT prep. While at University of Oregon, I tutored athletes in journalism, writing, English, comparative literature, and astronomy courses. I really enjoy the editing process, so I love helping students with papers, from conception to completion. As a tutor, I let the student control how to best make use of our time together. Let me know where and why you're getting stuck, and let's work together to get you through that point! If I'm not writing, then I'm most likely doing something music related. I like to play guitar and sing, but if I'm not doing that then I'm probably hiking or skateboarding.
