I enjoy learning as much as I enjoy teaching! As a youngster I loved asking questions and spending time with books. I graduated from Davidson College in 2009 with a degree in English and Spanish Literature. After college I spend five years teaching in Oakland, California where I also earned my Masters in Teaching and Education.
I enjoy teaching K-12 reading and writing skills as well as elementary through middle school mathematics. I am a Spanish speaker and enjoy helping others practice their skills. If you are interested in talking sports, The Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers are my teams!
As a tutor, I will work with students to identify their strengths areas of growth. We will work together to master mathematics and language arts skills in a relevant and enjoyable context. I look forward to working with families in helping young learners realize their potential.
