I truly believe that all students can achieve his/her highest academic ability. I have demonstrated quality leadership skills by mentoring and leading conferences and meetings. I specialize in differentiated learning in addition to incorporating the usage of various technologies, hands on manipulatives and auditory components in my classroom.

I have successfully taught Reading, Mathematics, Language Arts, Writing, and Social Sciences to students with disabilities and also the general education population at both the elementary and middle grades level. In the classroom, I apply principles of meeting the needs of visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learners. I base my philosophy of teaching on several factors supported by multiple bodies of research. The first is my understanding of the process of learning; the second, the role of the teacher; and the third, effective practices of differentiated instruction.
