I am an experienced tutor in the areas of Elementary Math, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, Literature, Phonics, Reading, and Writing. I believe that all students possess the capabilities to produce greatness if they apply themselves and take a determined approach towards the attainment of excellence. As an experienced and passionate tutor/educator, I come equipped with a variety of tutoring styles and teaching/learning strategies all aimed at academic enhancement. My strategies are very student centered and are developed based on a student's/client's interest, academic level and chronological age. I currently hold a Teacher Education diploma in the field of Primary education/Literacy Studies and a B.A. in Language Communication and Society.
I have had the privilege of tutoring/teaching students ages 9 - 18, and have been doing so for over ten years now. I value education and what it has to offer because I view it as the main vehicle for all types of changes (namely, social, personal, professional, and financial). Education is a beautiful thing!
