Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of William Paterson University. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified to teach grades pre-K - 5th in both New Jersey as well as California. While studying in college, I also worked as a Site Director at a before and after school care program. The program consisted of over 60 students in the AM and over 100 students in the afternoon. During my seven years spent with the company I tutored children extensively as it coincided with information I was learning in college. This provided an excellent platform to practice my one on one techniques and abilities with students. I believe that many students have different learning styles, and it is the educators responsibility to capitalize on these learning styles to provide the learner with an optimal chance at success. When I am not actively involved in the education field, I enjoy eating healthy and exercising (yoga, pilates, weight training, hiking), and I also enjoy going to the skatepark to ride my BMX bike!
