I earned my Bachelor's degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I studied both Criminal Justice and Philosophy, and I am a 2009 summa cum laude graduate. Further, I earned my Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2013.

I have tutored for many, many years. While in college, I tutored all grade levels, with a special emphasis on elementary and high school aged students. In law school, I continued tutoring and eventually worked as a Dean's Fellow (a third year law student who serves first year students as a teaching assistant). In this capacity, I instructed students in the subject of legal research, writing, and citation methods.

My favorite subject is English. I generate legal work product on a daily basis and am always genuinely excited to embrace new writing endeavors. For this precise reason, I genuinely enjoy helping students with essay writing for class, standardized tests, grammar, punctuation, and preliminary brainstorming.

I always tell my students, "you know you're thinking clearly when you're writing clearly!" It is all about being clear, concise, and succinct. For this reason, I place just as much emphasis on organization as I do on substance. Similarly, I embrace this philosophy when I teach. I normally use the following three-step program. First, I conduct a brainstorming session to induce critical thinking. Second, the student and I will create a rough outline to compartmentalize his or her premises. And finally, we plug in the brainstorming (substance) with the outline (organization) to create the final work product.

But there's more to me besides academia. I am a huge car fanatic! Additionally, I love football and basketball. Worth mentioning, I enjoy boxing and swimming. As you may have gathered, I have quite a fusion of interests!
