I am a graduate of Washington State University where I received my Bachelors degree in Finance. After graduation I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain and traveled throughout Europe. I then decided to attend law school, and I recently graduated and received a JD from Western State University College of Law. Throughout law school I helped my peers study different areas of the law. I was also a nanny before attending law school and part of my job was to help with homework. I helped with everything from math to English. I tutor a variety of subjects including pre-algebra, finance and accounting, ISEE and essay writing. I think the first step in studying, for anything, is first finding out how you learn best. After going to school for many years I finally found out that I was a mix between a visual leaner and a read/write learner. This changed how I studied for certain subjects. I think this is important because it can reduce frustration for a student. There are so many different ways you can learn and you probably had no idea or you were just sticking with one method that may have worked in the past. My outside interests are running, movies and snow skiing.
