I am a recent Mizzou graduate who is currently applying to medical schools. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English. After getting my degree from Mizzou, I completed all of my medical school prerequisites at the University of Missouri St. Louis last year. I have experience tutoring French, English, Pre-algebra, Chemistry and I have volunteered helping elementary school kids with their homework. I love school and I love to learn but I know that it is really hard to have this attitude when struggling with a subject and I love helping someone take acquire the tools they need to succeed in hard subjects. English is my favorite subject to tutor. I love the challenge of close reading, editing essays and discussing novels. I can even help dissect poems! In addition, I took all my science courses (and the MCAT) very recently so Chemistry, Biology and Biochemistry are all fresh in my mind. I would be happy to help you conquer the MCAT, particularly the Verbal Reasoning section. When I am not at school I love to be outside. I like to do yoga, rock climb, boulder, paddle board, run and hike with my dogs. I also love to read.
