I have recently graduated with my Master's degree from the University of South Florida, and I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for my Bachelor's in English. I am an avid, life-long reader and writer (Cormac McCarthy is my favorite author of all time) and it is these two traits, reading and writing, that I believe are the best ways to improve one's own ability to effectively communicate. I have experience tutoring at both the SAT and GRE level; as a Graduate Assistant Instructor for the past three years, I have taught undergraduate composition classes, working with students to improve their communication and essay-writing techniques. I believe that my creative approach to teaching, my patience, and my experience as both student and instructor make me an excellent tutor. When not involved in academics I also enjoy sports, spending time outdoors, and losing entire evenings browsing through the stacks at Tattered Cover bookstore.
