I am a credentialed teacher with 15 years experience teaching and tutoring students. What sets me apart from other tutors is my experience teaching in a variety of academic environments with students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. I have developed effective teaching strategies that enable each and every student to achieve academic success. I have successfully taught both gifted students as well as students who have learning disabilities

My specialty is science (Biology,Chemistry,Earth Science, Physical Science) but I am comfortable and have experience tutoring and teaching all subjects at the middle levels including math. I am passionate about tutoring because it allows me to witness genuine academic and personal growth in my students. I am organized, professional and have an outstanding work ethic.

In my spare time I volunteer with a local animal rescue and foster homeless animals. I also love to cook, eat and roller blade on the beach.
