Daniel: North Richland Hills tutor
Certified Tutor
I have had many Math professors throughout undergrad and graduate school and I have found that, although they all know what they are talking about and are all very intelligent, what makes a math teacher great is understanding that not everyone understands things the same way he or she does. Throughout my years tutoring all levels of mathematics, I have developed the ability to readily explore several different viewpoints and methods to help students fully grasp the subject matter. I can present the material in many different ways until we find an approach that works and makes the material easy to understand. Nothing gives me a greater thrill than the look of relief on a student's face when they actually start to "get it" and realize that it is not as difficult as was previously believed.
I have a Master of Science degree in Math, over three years' experience as an actuary, and am a member of MENSA. I am highly committed to students' performances and to improve their comprehension of all areas of Mathematics.
