About Francis Manapul

Francis Manapul is a Filipino-born comic book artist and writer living in Toronto, Canada. In 2011 he was awarded the Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Artist of the Year, as well as an Inkwell Award of that same year. His past work for DC includes THE FLASH, DETECTIVE COMICS, JUSTICE LEAGUE, ADVENTURE COMICS, SUPERMAN/BATMAN, and LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES. In the past, he's penciled Clear, Iron and the Maiden, Necromancer, Sept Guerrieres, Tomb Raider, The Darkness, G.I Joe, and Witchblade and drawn covers for Book of Slaughter, Love Everlasting, and The Walking Dead.
