I am currently finishing my final semester at the University of Michigan's College of Engineering, earning my Computer Science B.S.E. I have a post-graduation opportunity lined up for me as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon. I've also worked on several side projects including publishing my own websites. I enjoy teaching others about my passions and have been doing so for several years in 4-H and the National Honor Society when I was in high school. I primarily tutor AP Computer Science A and other similar introductory programming courses. I am proficient in Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, C#, and several other languages.

I hope to make math less scary! We can chit-chat and laugh while we solve problems. With a growth mindset, you can really learn anything you're set to.

I am a senior in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Eastern Michigan University, and I have been tutoring for about five years, from middle school to early college age students. My hobbies are painting/drawing, playing piano and guitar, and playing with my pet rats and my cat!

I am a student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a major in Psychology with a minor in Spanish and Business. I am committed to helping instill the element of curiosity into students and giving them the tools to ensure success. I have eight years of tutoring experience starting at elementary school mathematics, science, and language arts. Along with that, I have tutored students primarily in middle and high school level mathematics, PSAT & SAT math and language arts. I have a passion to leave students with a little more than the facts and opinions that they learn, but a way to express the knowledge during their lives.

I am a graduate of the University of Michigan. I received my Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Biochemistry. Since graduation, I have worked on the basic and translational immunology projects, including bioconjugation techniques for a startup now in series B funding, spent a year long fellowship in the UK studying Medical Ethics and Law, and returned to work for a firm developing a rapid, microfluidic, PCR-based diagnostic platform and actively distributing SARS-CoV-2 tests worldwide. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Chemistry, Biology, and Math. Here to help if those are subjects you'd like to improve.

I love to learn about any subject really because each new thing you learn can change how you see the world around you. Learning is a powerful tool for change, personal growth as well as fulfillment in life. I have experience working with students from elementary school, middle school, high school, and college undergraduate work. Currently, I am a senior at the University of Michigan, in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts pursuing a B.S. in Biochemistry. As a student, I have a well-rounded academic history with interest in a range of different subject areas including: history, English, writing, math, science, and computer skills. My goal as a tutor is to help you learn the material and have some fun while doing it. As such, I am flexible with schedules and platforms (online vs in-person) and am available Monday-Friday afternoon/ evenings and possibly some weekend times upon request*. Furthermore, I am also flexible with content/styles of sessions and can change the focus or style (ie: content review, homework help, general conceptual lectures, etc) accordingly to meet individual needs. Outside of academia I enjoy camping, hiking, reading (books and science papers), playing video games, and watching sports (basketball and football). I also have experience in assisting people with "mental blocks", testing anxiety, and related feelings of academic failure. I am open to sharing both my personal experience through my academic journey as well as hearing yours and offering advice if so desired.
