About Me

I finished my Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Organization Management in 2014 from Pennsylvania State University, where I worked extensively as a teaching assistant and tutor throughout my 2 years there. Before that, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in History from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. I moved to Research Triangle Park Area in 2014 and remained active in nonprofit filed, as Public Relations Specialist and Project Director. My main philosophy of teaching is to generate understanding through real life experience. Many concepts can be rather abstract and difficult to understand. Finding the right way to relate a concept to something from a students every day life is often the key to successful comprehension. I am a student-focused Chinese tutor with experience in helping students develop stronger reading, writing, and speaking skills. Dedicated to enriching students academic lives through group and one-on-one tutoring, coaching, and mentoring. Let's get started!
