I am a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station. I received my Bachelors of Arts in English. Since graduation, I have worked as an after school coordinator, kindergartner teacher, middle school reading teacher, and reading specialist for a middle school. I am passionate about reading and English. I have experience working with struggling readers and preparing students for the reading and writing STAAR test. I believe that each child has the talents to learn; it is up to the tutor/teacher to help find that talent within the child. I try to make learning fun and ensure students that the things they may struggle with academically can be improved with practice. In my spare time I enjoy reading, zumba, cooking, and traveling.
