About Me

Greetings! I am a former teacher (five years!) and have currently taken a break to go back to school to further my own education. I am a graduate student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education learning the fundamentals of school leadership. While I am so excited to be a student again, I already miss teaching! I have taught math for five years and absolutely love it. My favorite is working with students who struggle in math and think they will never be successful. I love working with these students because I feel confident that I can present the material in simple, new ways that will make them feel GOOD at math in a way they may never have felt before. (It has happened in the past, I promise!)Math is so fun to me, and math literacy is absolutely crucial to be a well functioning part of this world. I have taught math at every level between 6th and 10th grade and feel confident in my knowledge and how I can deliver it to my students.
