The student worked on a quiz or test online involving linear equations and linear systems. She solved the systems by graphing, elimination, and substitution. Also there were some word problems that were solved by figuring the linear equations and solving.

We worked on Pre-Calc for the entire duration and we reviewed graphical transformation of graphs of higher degrees, finding symmetry about x=0 or the origin by seeing if the functions were even or odd and also using the intermediate value theorem. We also used the graphing calculator to find zeros of some of the more complicated functions.

Worked with the student on a variety of topics for his Mathematics final. Logarithms, exponential equations and conic sections. Good session.

Met with the student on Sunday from 2:00pm - 3:50pm to finalize any questions that she had regarding her pre-calc comprehensive exam this week. We reviewed graphing functions, mean-median-range, P= Rate X Time, word problems, and continued to review polar coordinates. She had a very good grasp on most concepts and has seemed to raise her confidence over the last couple weeks.

During this session, we reviewed the student's homework on "Order of Operations". Also, we went over an assignment which she trouble with. This assignment reviewed "Prime and Composite Numbers" and "Prime Factorization". We were also able to review "Divisibility Rules" during this assignment.

The student and I continued to work on her Spanish skills. In this lesson, we focused on using estar in the present and imperfect tenses with past participles, and estar in the present and imperfect tenses with gerunds. She is making progress..
